We Are Vertigo is looking for passionate individuals to join their Operational Management Team in both our Newtownbreda and Titanic site! The main role of the Assistant Site Manager will be to support the Site Manager in the direct day to day operations within the facility, lead and manage a team of 50+ staff and will be line managed by the Site Manager in Northern Ireland's Premier Entertainment Complexes.
To be considered for this role you will have significant experience in the leisure or hospitality industry, with a proven track record of managing and motivating staff and an eagerness to learn and develop. With a passion for customer service, attention for detail and willingness to learn and progress - our supervisors play a key role in the running of our fast-paced and energetic sites.
The hours will be based on a weekly rota, which will include working evenings and weekends with full time and part time roles available.
What are we looking for?
- The ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with great attention to detail.
- To take a pro-active approach to customer journey with a focus on look and feel, wait times and customer needs.
- To actively lead a team to achieve all revenue, retention, and quality goals.
- To ensure staff follows daily cleaning schedules & comply with our opening and end of day/close down procedures.
- To monitor day to day running of the operation and management of up to 50+ staff on shift.
- To ensure that all equipment is safely maintained and where equipment is not functioning, the appropriate action is taken to remove or repair the item.
- To promote a culture of safety and compliance of the whole team and customers.
- To supervise staff members, train & develop them in all areas of service.
- To maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
- To attend and contribute to regular review meetings with senior management to ensure communications are regular and constructive.
- To assist to generate new business through effective business development and community relations
- Inventory management and ordering.
- Cash handling.

- 2 years' experience of managing a busy operation in the hospitality or leisure sector.
